11/7/07 UPDATE:
Talked to Dad this morning about 9:00. Mom had called him during the night complaining of her blood pressure skyrocketing. Dad called the nurses (she's still in the hospital) and they assured him that was not the case. I mentioned to Dad that maybe the pacemaker is working and she's not used to her heart working to normal capacity, which he said, "yeah, you're probably right". I'm sure to her it did feel like her blood pressure was sky high. This is just my theory.
