I began this blog shortly after my mother was diagnosed with the disease mostly to clear my head. With so much fear & frustration I started losing sleep. When Mom began forgetting I began to mourn losing her, it was so difficult to watch her slip away mentally over the years. I realized I began to distance myself from her. Mom passed away August 8, 2012 & I miss her everyday.
